Confession: I sort of love pop music. It's not something that I purchase a lot, but if there's a particularly catchy song, you will likely find it on my iPod, carefully placed into one of my numerous gym/running/exercise mixes. Clearly there's a time and place for just about anything.
Here are two of my current faves, which haven't made their way onto my iTunes quite yet, but are definitely in line for purchase:

Music Monday: Martin Sexton
In high school, my best friend's family introduced me to Martin Sexton. I'm pretty sure his was the first concert we were allowed to go into NYC to see by ourselves. Ah, memories. Anyway, I just love his lyrics and the melancholy of his voice. Happy Monday!

Music Monday: Tegan and Sara
Since I was jonesing for a little throwback this morning and this song by Tegan and Sara definitely fit the bill. While this isn't my favorite song of theirs by a long stretch, I still enjoy it and thought it was fitting given the day...
